 Vickie’s passion for re-designing rooms
emerged in her early twenties. She loved to
re-arrange furniture and utilize light,
space, and organizational tools to re-make a
room to give it that “Wow” effect.
Vickie’s motivation was strengthened by the
wonderful reactions from family and
friends. Vickie’s professional career launched in
2000 after training and certification as an
IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry
Specialist). Soon after certification
Vickie began expanding her business publicly
assisting clients with home services to
include: home
consultations, room organization, holiday
décor, room makeovers, home staging and
re-designs. Vickie utilizes her
clients’ personal belongings and treasures
to transform rooms into their very own
personal sanctuaries.
She
believes that everyone can have a stress-free home
without a large investment of time or
resources. Clients are most impressed with the
drastic results that she achieves in minimal time
and minimal budget. These changes are often made in
just a few short hours while clients are at work or
enjoying time with friends, only to find magic when
returning home. Vickie is their own personal “home
makeover” show! Vickie’s success is largely due to
her love for people and her empathetic nature allows
her to connect with all of her clients. She
listens to each client closely and customizes each
re-design based on there individual needs to deliver
a product that they can call home.
On a
personal note:
Vickie is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters and
values this experience, Mom, as her greatest gift.
Her inspiration for Interior Decorating comes from
her Mother, Marion Joyner who passed in September of
1992. Vickie remembers early years watching her own
mother host elaborate parties and decorate every
season and holiday. Marion would go to great
lengths to make sure that her family had a home that
always looked its best. Her Mother was her
greatest teacher in life and Vickie continues to
find inspiration from her creative energy, passion
for life, learning, and family values.
